LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The No. 5 Texas Rattlers won Saturday’s Last Chance Game during the second day of postseason competition at T-Mobile Arena to join the No. 2 Austin Gamblers, No. 3 Nashville Stampede and No. 8 Arizona Ridge Riders as the four remaining squads set to duke it out at the 2026 PBR Teams Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada on Championship Sunday, Nov. 8.
The Ridge Riders continued their furious postseason run by upsetting the No. 1 Missouri Thunder and improving to 3-0 at the 2026 PBR Teams Championship, while the Nashville Stampede defeated the No. 4 Carolina Cowboys and the Austin Gamblers beat the Texas Rattlers.
Following a rideless four-out streak to start the final Last Chance Game of the weekend, teams found their footing in the second, as Guilherme Valleiras (Pirassununga, Brazil) bested Desert Twister (87.85) to get Carolina on the board before Josh Frost (Randlett, Utah) responded with a personal season-high 91.70 points on Moolah to put the Cowboys in the lead. One-upping his opponent during a third-straight conversion, Maverick Smith (Cabool, Missouri) recorded a career-high 92.95 points atop Ransom to power the top-ranked Thunder to the top of the leaderboard. Lucas Divino (Nova Crixas, Brazil) then earned a second score for the Rattlers, marked 87.60 points on Hermes, to position Texas for a late-game run. Twenty-three-year-old Qynn Andersen (Koumala, Australia) capped off the fiery finale by surviving the requisite 8 atop Mr. Fahrenheit – the first-ever qualified ride against the bovine athlete – to clinch the Rattlers’ win.
“It’s very important because we’ve been in this situation a couple times, but we have to leave everything in God’s hands,” Rattlers’ veteran Lucas Divino said on the CW broadcast. “We have enough talent to win anything like the other teams, but God knows who’s going to be the winner. We just cheer for everybody to be safe and be healthy. That’s all that matters.”
The game ended following Andersen’s conversion in the bottom of the fourth, limiting each of Saturday’s Last Chance Game contenders to four total attempts.
Arizona upset Missouri 178.55-89.90 to improve to 3-0 at T-Mobile Arena. Julio Cesar Marques (Tatuí, Brazil) scored 89.90 points aboard Cracky Chan to give the Thunder the lead in the bottom of the second before backflipping in celebration and re-igniting a packed T-Mobile Arena audience. However, Elizmar Jeremias (Anapu, Brazil) stole the spotlight and the lead with an epic 90.55-point score on Lieutenant Dan to put the Ridge Riders in front. As the only other cowboy to go the distance in Game 3, Wingson Henrique da Silva (Itaquirai, Brazil) topped Burning Inferno for a personal season-high 88 points, which doubled as the Brazilian’s first conversion of the 2026 season, as the Ridge Riders advanced to Championship Sunday for the fourth time in five years while sending the Thunder to Saturday’s Last Chance Game.
During Saturday’s opening game, Gustavo Luiz da Silva (Inocência, Brazil) came off the bench in the bottom of the fifth and clinched an electrifying walk-off win for the Nashville Stampede to edge the Carolina Cowboys 268.80-259.95.
Guilherme Valleiras (Pirassununga, Brazil) catapulted Carolina to an early lead in the top of the second, scored a career-high 91.15 points atop American Made as the defending 2025 PBR Teams Champions struck first. However, Daniel Feitosa (Guaraci, Brazil) quickly battled the inaugural 2022 PBR Teams Champion Stampede back within 1.4 points during the next out via an 89.75-point conversion aboard Max Bet. Two-time PBR World Champion Jess Lockwood(Volborg, Montana) bested High Road for 79.20 points in the third to extend Carolina’s lead to 80.6 points, but Rogério Venâncio (Paranaita, Brazil) vaulted Nashville in front by 9.3 points in the bottom of the third following his 89.90-point dance with Flapjack.
Adriano Salgado (Batatais, Brazil) improved to 2-for-2 on the weekend, as Carolina’s closer topped UB Smooth for 89.60 points in the bottom of the fifth to continue Game 1’s theatrics and the Cowboys surged back in front. Following a successful 8-second effort from Riquelmi Silva (Bom Jesus do Araguaia, Brazil) in the bottom of the fifth, Gustavo Luiz da Silva was subbed in for the Stampede, as Nashville opted into a re-ride opportunity with Silva’s initial score just 78.50 points. Needing 80.35 points to advance to Sunday’s Semifinals, the Brazilian went the distance aboard Let’s Roll (89.15) to complete the league’s first postseason walk-off win and send the Cowboys to the Last Chance Game.
The Austin Gamblers rode four bulls to defeat their in-state rival Texas Rattlers 359.30-265.40 and secure a spot in Sunday’s final slate of postseason competition. Brady Fielder (Clermont, Australia) topped Dirty Dan for 89.25 points for the Rattlers during Game 2’s first out, but it was all Austin from there, as the Gamblers rode four-consecutive bulls to ride an unsurmountable wave of momentum while advancing to Championship Sunday.
Three-time PBR Teams MVP Jose Vitor Leme (Ribas do Rio Pardo, Brazil) matched Walk Off step-for-step in the bottom of the first for 90.25 points to gain the lead for the Gamblers and extend his PBR record-setting 90-point ride count to 96. Dalton Kasel (Muleshoe, Texas) followed up the conversion in the second, marked 89.30 points for his rematch with Doze You Down to move the Gamblers one score ahead of Texas. Sage Steele Kimzey (Strong City, Oklahoma) bested Lever Action for 89.85 points in the third to keep things rolling for Austin.
Qynn Andersen hung onto his bull rope while falling off the side of Feel the Magic and was able to complete the conversion (85.70) in the top of the fourth to keep Texas alive. But 2018 PBR World Champion Kaique Pacheco (Itatiba, Brazil) put the contest out of reach in the bottom of the fourth, scored 89.90 points on Big Iron to clinch the victory for Austin. Veteran 42-year-old cowboy João Ricardo Vieira (Itatinga, Brazil) turned back the clocks in the top of the fifth for Texas, scored 90.45 points, his first 90-point ride since 2024, as the game’s final rider to convert.
The 2026 PBR Teams Championship concludes Sunday, Nov. 8 at 5:30 p.m. EST. All four of Championship Sunday’s games will air live at 5:30 p.m. EST on the CW. Tickets are available to purchase at ticketmaster.com and PBR.com.
